The project Solstice describes a stream of images from the unconscious, which alternates surrealistic dream images with symbolic meanings with fading memories and sublimated desires. The Project does not follow a linear storyline, rather transports the viewer on a path into the hidden depth of the human psyche. Discovering the borderline between Reality and Fantasy and emerging as a collage which can be interpreted as purifying and disturbing at the same time. This project deals with the discovery and reflection of the self and can be understood as a desire for introspection and self awareness. It deals with the painful gaping of a cracked being and an unravelling human psyche. A space is constructed which identifies the existence between an idealised dream and the realism of the everyday.
